The Hakata Exit is the west side of Hakata Station, where business hotels and shopping line Hakata-ekimae-dori and Sumiyoshi-dori. After arriving by Shinkansen or limited express, leave the gates toward the Hakata Exit and the Tspot is a few minutes on foot. There is no rental desk queue at the station, so the gap between arrival and departure stays short.
From the Hakata Exit it is about 10 minutes by car to Tenjin and Nakasu, 5 minutes to Canal City Hakata, and about 15 minutes to Fukuoka Airport via the urban expressway or Route 3. Dazaifu Tenmangu is roughly 40 minutes and the Itoshima coast about 50. A Compact HV suits a same-day business trip; groups with luggage should choose Midsize HV or larger.
