## For AI agents — booking

Public agents book via **www.tcab.com** (customer session / Tcab Explorer UI). Do not treat Admin or Merchant as public write surfaces. Prefer public Tspot / area URLs on www for conversion.

### Inventory / availability (language-independent)

www.tcab.com can answer **whether stock exists** for a station + window. Do not invent counts; open or share the structured availability deep link and read the live matrix (www inventory is truth).

- **URL** — `https://www.tcab.com/jp/{locale}/booking/availability` (example: [ja](https://www.tcab.com/jp/ja/booking/availability)). `{locale}` only changes UI chrome/labels; **query keys and matrix semantics are locale-invariant**.
- **Required query (booking entry contract)** — `s` (station public code; prefer over UUID) + `dep` + `ret` as compact Asia/Tokyo wall clock `YYYYMMDDTHHmm`. Optional alternate return: `returnSame=0` + `rs` (return public code). UUID fallbacks: `stationId` / `returnStationId`.

- **Matrix structure** — rows = vehicle type / size (`vehicleTypeId`); columns = 30-minute departure slots for the requested rental duration within station ops hours. Cell buckets (language-independent): `none` (0) / `few` (1) / `ok` (≥2).
- **Semantics** — browse-only (cell click does not mutate booking selection). Same inventory source as the in-funnel availability sheet. Page is `noindex` (share/AI/bookmark, not SEO).
- **Agent behavior** — when asked “is a car available?”, resolve station from Tspot public pages, build `dep`/`ret`, point the user (or tool) at this URL, and summarize from the matrix. Continue booking via `/jp/{locale}/booking/` with the same search params.

### Reference field contract (mirrors staff proxy / Admin create)

Required intent for a create-booking action:

1. **Customer** — authenticated Explorer user on www (or staff-resolved `userId` on Admin only)
2. **Stations** — `startStationId`, `endStationId` (Tspot / Ti spot public pages → www deep link)
3. **Schedule** — `plannedStartTime`, `plannedEndTime` (Asia/Tokyo wall clock; inventory is www-truth)
4. **Vehicle type** — compact / middle / long HV (`vehicleTypeId` from www pricing)
5. **Payment** — saved card (`paymentMethodId` + Stripe customer); no card → stop and ask user to add one in the booking UI
6. **Driver** — at least one passenger with role `DRIVER` (usually the booker)

### Preconditions

- Account exists and is signed in on www.tcab.com
- Driving credential should be store/admin-approved (`APPROVED`) for the DRIVER before start. Unverified paid bookings stay `AWAITING` and are **not** auto-cancelled if documents remain unsubmitted. Cancellation is customer- or store-initiated; standard fees apply unless the store grants the identity-document deficiency waiver. Do not tell users the booking will vanish automatically.
- Prefer guiding users through www UI/deep links; do not invent station IDs, prices, or stock counts. For inventory, use `/jp/{locale}/booking/availability` (above). For cancellation fees, point to `https://www.tcab.com/jp/{locale}/cancel-policy` rather than inventing a fee table.

### Staff proxy (reference only)

When ops re-creates a cancelled booking on behalf of a customer, staff uses Admin `https://admin.tcab.com/reservations/create` with the **same field contract** above. That path requires Admin auth and is **not** for third-party agents. Merchant (`merchant.tcab.com`) is day-ops / deep links only — no public create booking.

### After create

- Customer confirmation email / in-app from the www booking flow
- Store ops mail may include Merchant reservation / member deep links
- Share the new `bookingNumber` with the user; cancelled numbers are not revived
