Versus short-duration use in the legacy business, Tcab bookings are centered on travel and stays. The United States, Singapore, and Canada are also among the top 10 traffic sources, so North American and Asian use is expected to grow.

Tcab focuses on travel-oriented hybrid vehicles such as Alphard, Vellfire, and Prius, with 24-hour pickup and return in Fukuoka and Okinawa. Ordinary driving fuel is included in the base fare, so a full-tank return is not required. Vehicle class, trip length, and travel use make higher spend per booking more likely than in the legacy rental business — as these early results show.
