Tcab 發布支援200個國家的駕駛資格自動判定程式
Tcab Explorer 新增駕駛資格模擬器，可自動判定200個國家駕照在日本的駕駛可否，結合AI影像辨識、OCR與真偽判定。
TANAAKK Inc. (headquarters: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masayoshi Aoki; hereinafter “TANAAKK”) and TANAAKK EVGRID Inc. (headquarters: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kensuke Suzuki; hereinafter “TANAAKK EVGRID”) have implemented a driving-eligibility simulator in the car-share and car-rental booking app “Tcab Explorer.” It automatically determines whether licenses from 200 countries allow driving in Japan, combining AI image recognition, OCR, and authenticity checks.
Inbound car rental has long faced challenges such as explaining rules, judging driving eligibility, counter communication, accident rates, and staffing. Tcab addresses these with Tcab Suite — a stack of proprietary software for digitally driven inbound rental. In Okinawa and Fukuoka, vehicles support 24-hour departure and return, including delivery to hotels.

Pickup is supported at 86 locations in Okinawa and 11 in Fukuoka, including airports, ferry terminals, and urban sites.
Tcab 特色
Travel-oriented hybrids such as Alphard, Vellfire, and Prius support 24-hour pickup and return in Fukuoka and Okinawa. Ordinary driving fuel is included in the base fare, so a full-tank return is not required. Early results show higher average spend per booking than the legacy TANAAKK rental business (about 2.3× in our data).
後續規劃
With profitability in the two-prefecture setup expected within about three months of launch, the FY2027–FY2029 plan aims to open about one prefecture per month and expand across Japan’s 47 prefectures.
